RUMPA: A Diner For Riders

Finally, the sun came out after weeks of rain, wind and a small passing tornado!
After a check on the weather forecast, it was going to be a bright and sunny Sunday morning.
It was time to ride but where to? Actually, it was which one? Some cruiser buddies were inviting me to ride South to Tagaytay City. Another group was going up North to Angeles City in Pampanga. After calling up some biker friends, we decided to ride North and have our breakfast at our favorite restaurant, Rumpa.

Rumpa which stands for Retired US Military Personnel Association, is a coop established by retiree US servicemen who have decided to settle in the Philippines with their Filipina wives. The specialty of the house are baby back ribs and porterhouse steaks! The prices are reasonable and the servings are huge - and that's just how we like it.

The riders: (from left to right) Albert Yap, Sonny Navarro, Gerry Aquinaldo, me and Argy Gaerlan.

We got back to Manila at around 10:30am.  And we were all In A Rumpa State Of Mind!
